BYP Holiday Club – Damyns Hall Aerodrome

Get ready for an unforgettable week of aviation at the fantastic Damyns Hall Aerodrome — a busy and active airfield where students will be fully immersed in the world of real flying.

This exciting 5-day experience is designed for young aviation enthusiasts who want far more than just classroom learning. Throughout the week, students will fly simulators, take on aviation challenges, learn from real pilots, and experience the atmosphere of a working aerodrome surrounded by live aircraft activity.

With flights planned every day (subject to weather), students will have the opportunity to see aviation up close and experience what life at an active airfield is really like.

Throughout the week, students will take part in a range of themed aviation days, including:

🛩️ Tiger Moth & Vintage Aircraft Day

Step back into the golden age of aviation and explore the world of vintage flying. Students will learn about classic aircraft operations, formation flying, aerobatics, and what makes these historic aircraft so special.

✈️ Airbus A320 Airline Day

Experience life as an airline pilot in the Airbus A320. Students will learn airline procedures, cockpit operations, navigation, take-offs and landings while flying realistic simulator missions.

🎧 Air Traffic Control Day

Learn how pilots and controllers communicate in the real world using authentic aviation radio phraseology while managing aircraft movements and airspace challenges.

🧑‍✈️ Co-Pilot Challenge & Certification

Students will work through a series of aviation tasks and flying exercises across the week, building towards their BYP Co-Pilot Certificate.

🔥 Aviation Missions & Flying Challenges

Alongside the themed days, students will experience exciting simulator missions, practical aviation exercises, and teamwork-based flying challenges designed to build confidence and flying knowledge in a fun, engaging environment.

Students will also learn from experienced aviation professionals, including recently qualified ATPL pilots with both EASA and CAA training experience, giving students insight into the real pathway towards becoming a professional pilot.
