Inspired? If so, we need you! British Young Pilots (BYP) was established in 2023 with a mission to provide young people with the opportunity to experience flight and learn about aviation. Whilst for some, this will be a route into an exciting and fulfilling career, our core aim is really to inspire the next generation to take an interest in aviation and boost self-esteem and confidence at the same time. If you have an FI or CRI rating and would like to take young people flying we are also keen to hear from you. We run our own flight operations and various airfields with a fleet of C42 Aircraft and also work with third party affiliated flying schools. As we grow, we have an ongoing need for FI and CRI’s.

BYP is run by pilots for future pilots. Most of us that work here were ‘that kid’ who would stare out the window at aircraft longingly, wondering if we would ever get the chance to fly.
We were the lucky ones, everyone at BYP is a pilot so we all found a way into aviation, some of us are commercial airline pilots, some military and others private pilots. What has brought us together is the desire to share our passion, open the door to the next generation and perhaps offer what we wish could have been there when we were young.
We are rapidly expanding and there are a few ways you can get involved.

Our schools program running flying clubs within schools is steadily expanding across the UK, why not ask your school if you can set one up?
