“My son has been incredibly fortunate to receive a British Young Pilots bursary. Without this help, I would not be in a position to fund this amazing opportunity. 

This bursary has allowed him to turn something that was previously just a dream into something that really feels achievable. He has very much enjoyed all the modules especially learning about the aircraft including engine failures, circuits and overhead joins. The programme has given him valuable experience, increased his confidence and helped him understand much more about what becoming a pilot involves. He looks forward to his sessions with great enthusiasm and has enjoyed hearing about his teachers career paths and experiences in aviation. 

What has been particularly lovely to see is how seriously he takes the opportunity. He knows that receiving the bursary is a privilege and that British Young Pilots has invested in his potential.
