Get ready for five unforgettable days of real aviation at Cornwall Airport Newquay – one of the UK's most exciting airport environments!

This immersive holiday club gives aspiring young aviators the chance to experience every side of aviation, from flying modern airliners and directing aircraft from the control tower to investigating aircraft accidents and planning coastal flights. Through hands-on activities, realistic flight simulators, exciting team challenges and expert tuition, students won't just learn about aviation—they'll experience it.

⭐ Every student will have the opportunity to book a real flying lesson, giving them the chance to take the controls of a real aircraft with a qualified instructor. It's the perfect way to put everything they've learned into practice and experience the thrill of flight for themselves.

Located just moments from Cornwall's spectacular coastline, students will also discover the unique challenges of coastal and offshore flying while enjoying an authentic live airport setting.

🎧 Air Traffic Control Day

Discover how air traffic controllers safely manage aircraft both in the air and on the ground. Learn the phonetic alphabet, practise aviation radio calls, use walkie-talkies in exciting role-play exercises, and, subject to availability, visit the Cornwall Airport Newquay control tower.

🚁 Air Ambulance & Emergency Aviation Day

Explore the incredible world of emergency aviation and discover how helicopters support life-saving missions. Learn how emergency operations are planned and hear from aviation professionals about careers in air ambulance operations.

✈️ Learn to Fly Airliners Day

Step into the cockpit of an Airbus A320 and experience what it's like to fly a commercial airliner. Learn about aircraft systems, navigation, departures and landings while flying realistic airline simulators.

🕵️ Aircraft Accident Investigation Day

Become an aviation investigator and discover how incidents are analysed to make flying safer around the world. Working in teams, students will investigate a realistic aviation scenario using techniques inspired by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).

🗺️ Navigation & Coastal Flying Day

Master the essentials of flight planning and navigation while exploring the unique challenges of flying along coastlines and over open water. Students will learn how pilots use charts, landmarks, headings, timing and modern navigation systems to fly safely and accurately.
