Want to start your own school flying club? Follow the seven steps below!

Step 1 - BUILD YOUR TEAM:

Find 15 students in the school who want to fly a plane.

Step 2 - FIND SOME SPACE:

Find a classroom in the school that will be suitable for the club. Often an ICT room that already has computer equipment in it. We need space for 12 students and three desk top SIMS, a white board and a TV screen.

Step 3 - SPEAK TO YOUR SCHOOL:

Find a teacher who is happy to liaise with BYP - re-assure them that they wont need to do anything once the club is established, we just need someone to liaise with to set it up.

Step 4 - FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW!

You’ve done the hard bit, now you’re ready to contact BYP!

Step 5 - SET UP YOUR SIMS

Once we’ve liaised with your school and confirmed you have enough students committed, your flight SIM gear will arrive at your school for you to set up.

Step 6 - MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

You get to interview your BYP flight instructor. to make sure you like them.

Step 7 - CLUB LAUNCHES

Your club will launch in either Jan, April or Sept. You can expect be at the controls of a real plane within 6 weeks of the club launching. If you are the organiser on the form below, you first real flight is FREE!
