Weekend Clubs

All new students begin with our introductory Wings Course — five half-day sessions (3 hours each), running fortnightly to reduce travel time and costs. The fee for this first term is £330.

Sessions combine classroom learning and simulator flying. Students explore topics like physics, meteorology, and how aircraft work, then apply those skills in our flight simulators with instructor support. This keeps training accessible while building real aviation skills.

Optional real aircraft flights can be booked separately through our partner airfields across the UK (£90 per 30 minutes). We typically recommend 1–2 flights per term, though this is flexible.

After Wings, students progress through BYP Levels 1–4 (two terms each). Completing all levels prepares them for ground pilot exams and the next steps toward a pilot’s licence with continued support from British Young Pilots.

Too far from our training locations? Don’t panic! BYP are opening new flying clubs each month and we aim to have a flying club in every major town in the UK by the end of 2026.
