BYP Holiday Clubs 2026!
Our 2026 BYP Holiday Clubs have officially come to an end, bringing an incredible summer of aviation experiences to a close.
This year, we ran 16 holiday clubs across 14 locations, welcoming young aviation enthusiasts for days packed with learning, exploration, hands-on experiences and flying.
Each club was different. Our instructors created bespoke programmes around the opportunities available at each location, giving students the chance to explore aviation from a huge range of perspectives.
Across the summer, students visited Air Traffic Control towers, met airline Captains and pilots, explored fire services and airfield operations, and discovered the many different careers and pathways within aviation.
They learnt about everything from air traffic control, airline operations and navigation to accident investigation, supersonic flight and space. Students also explored topics including the AAIB, Concorde, drones, engineering, air ambulances and the A320, alongside many other areas of aviation.
And, of course, there were plenty of opportunities to get hands-on — from exploring real aircraft and flying simulators to visiting some incredible aviation venues.
Creating experiences tailored to each group
One of the things that makes our Holiday Clubs special is that no two programmes are exactly the same.
Our instructors work hard to create programmes that make the most of their local aviation community, while ensuring that every day is engaging, educational and suited to the students attending.
A huge thank you to all of our BYP instructors who put so much time and thought into creating such incredible bespoke programmes for our students.

“A huge thank you to the instructors at Biggin Hill, they made the week for Ben, he loved every minute. He has been obsessed with planes and becoming a pilot since he was 5 years old, so this was like his dream holiday club.”
“My son loved it, the instructors were great and very good with the kids. It was great seeing a kid who was going for his licence the following Saturday there too.”
One family whose son attended a week-long course also praised the way the programme was adapted to the students:
“James Buck, who ran the week-long course, was a fantastic instructor. My son was fully engaged and felt comfortable with him. He tailored the course to all the children's needs and capabilities. He made it fun and engaging. My son could not wait to return each day. We drove 1 hour 45 minutes every day, and he didn't have a problem getting up at 6am to go back. Louis wants to return every school holiday to learn more.”
And at Balado, one parent told us:
“The week at Balado has been a great way to help my son become more confident and more excited about aviation as a whole. It's a great opportunity for the kids to fly and fulfil their dreams.”
Looking ahead
From learning how Air Traffic Control works and exploring accident investigation, to discovering engineering, meeting aviation professionals and getting hands-on with real aircraft, our 2026 Holiday Clubs have shown students just how many different opportunities exist within aviation.
